FAQ

Do you have Accommodation on-site? If yes, do you have a discounted rate for Weddings?

Yes, we have a told of 36 rooms which guests are able to book for the night of the Wedding. We also offer a discounted rate for all Wedding Bookings.

Do you allow Pets on-site?

Yes, you are able to bring your furry friend along for the Ceremony! All animals must remain on a lead at all times. They are not allowed to enter the reception area.

Do you have a Wet Weather option for the Ceremony?

Of course! One the day of the Wedding we make the decision and it will be set up in our beautiful Dining Room overlooking the golf course.

Can I have Fireworks at my reception?

Absolutely! We allow Fireworks on the golf course which always such a hit with the guests.

We do allow indoor fireworks and dry ice but please advise the Event Coordinator before the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, and we can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the venue's stunning natural beauty took our breath away. The accommodation options were fantastic. Our guests were able to book at a discounted rate at the RSO onsite lodgings and we have heard from them first-hand what a fantastic and comfortable experience they had in their rooms as well as at the Brasserie for their meals, the resorts Bistro. It made the entire experience feel more like a weekend getaway than just a wedding. Speaking of food, the catering was outstanding. Every dish was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the canapes, entrees and main course. The chef and kitchen staff were flexible enough to prepare and serve food in a completely new way. Our vision was to have food served family or tapas style on shared platters which guests could pass around the table and add to their own plates exactly what they wanted to eat. We were able to workshop the entire menu from scratch together with the Chef, months in advance and the execution on the big night was flawless. Communication with the venue staff, especially the Wedding Coordinator Brianna, was seamless throughout the planning process. They were responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Any questions or requests we had were met with enthusiasm and professionalism regardless of the time of day we asked them, which made everything so much easier. The venue also offered a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, from hitting a golf ball out at the range to fun lawn games. This thoughtful touch helped create a festive atmosphere and ensured that everyone felt included and entertained. But perhaps the highlight of the experience was the staff. Every member was warm, friendly, and eager to help, which made the whole day feel special. Overall, we cannot recommend Riverside Oaks highly enough. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines stunning beauty, exceptional food, and outstanding service, look no further. It’s a place where our dreams came true!

We can't thank Riverside enough for making our our wedding day our dream day! Brianna and the events team were absolutely brilliant and a pleasure to work with! They were nothing but accommodating, supportive and kind! With every up and down, they made sure everything was running as smoothly as it could be no matter the circumstances. Riverside Oaks Golf Resort was by far the absolute best venue for our ceremony and reception that we could have ever asked for! Davinia and her team were absolutely amazing and professional and made us know from the moment we arrived that this was where we were going to get married - to the absolutely beautiful grounds, the breathtaking reception room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous course and providing views of wildlife and the lake, to the incredible food and service provided at the wedding to all of our guests, to the amazing lodge style accommodation and complimentary night provided for my new husband and I, to the level of personalisation and dedication to us both to make our day perfect, I could not recommend this venue highly enough! Cost indicative of ceremony, chairs, carpet, reception, food, awesome drinks package and more! We chose the 'Oaks Package' and received the best service we could have ever asked for.

Sorry we cannot be of much help, we are a licenced venue therefore we cannot allow BYO and are situated in Hawkebury Region.

Beautiful garden wedding locations in Melb/Vic?

Hi, wondering if anyone has availability or know any great locations for 20th April 2019 for a small intimate wedding (25-50 people)? Must have beautiful natural gardens/scenery/landscape and an elegant indoor reception area. Preferable somewhere in Dandenong Ranges or Hepburn Springs, but open to other places in Victoria that fits the description.

Unfornutately we arent located in Melbourne, Victoria. We are situated in Sydney in the Hawkesbury region.

Riverside Oaks can cater for all types and sizes of weddings, with out door ceremonies overlooking our stunning golf course and the Hawesbury River.

Our beautiful wedding reception area with floor to ceiling windows captures the beauty of our pristine landscape and wildlife.

Riverside Oaks Golf Resort allows pets to walk the rings down the aisle at the ceremony, however we do have Kangaroos on our premises which may be a distraction to your pet.

If your pet is to run off and chase after one of our Kangaroos we hold no responsibilty for how the Kangaroo may react to another animal approaching them.
