From Jarred
"
When you book me, I’m there for you. I set up a direct line of contact where you can reach me anytime with anything big or small, like a friend. The more the better, it’s how I build my understanding of who you are and what is important to you.
On the day, I’m there for you, working and present. I’m not directing in a way that steals the show or shooting photos that simply tick the boxes. I’m constantly observing and trying to move gracefully. Everything I perceive is going in and forming an understanding of how the day feels, who played certain roles and importantly where was the love? what was the evidence of what this couple make together."
Offerings
We have packages for every kind of offering, from vow renewals or elopements to mega 400+ guest weddings.
Every package includes a few important things that we have identified.
A direct line of contact with your photographer via Whatsapp. This is a space where your story unfolds with all the little thoughts that come to mind to the weather dependent changes that may arise. This is an important way for us to break down our “professional” barriers of access to us. Our service is very personal and your needs matter. We always respond when we have time to give it and we enjoy this process.
Unlimited consultations in person or via video chat, to your needs. There are two crucial meetings that we will instigate at the beginning of our journey together and right before your day.
A personal and private online gallery with a curated slideshow built in.
This gallery can be shared with family, friends and other vendors (It also has a feature where you can hide images if you need to) You can use AI to search for people’s faces if you need a collection to craft a mother’s day post.
You can also order any prints you may need direct from this gallery and an app can be saved on your phone which will store all of your photos in a cloud giving you access to them whenever you need them without clogging up your phone space.
Handcrafted editing by Jarred.
Unfortunately a hidden production secret in the world of wedding photography is automation. Presets draped over every image without considering how the lighting is affecting the colour changes. AI is now editing photos which further removes the photographer from the nuances and choices pivotal in curating a story. Then there is the shipping of images overseas to third world countries who probably use AI themselves (Fair enough) for a the cost of a pub meal.
We avoid these because this part of the process is incredibly enjoyable and important.
The variables exist in the hours of coverage needed and whether or not a second photographer is needed on the day.
If this sounds like something you’re into you can send us a request for the pricing.
This information will include more about our other photographers, shooting on film options, more testimonies from our couples and all the other print options for you.
About
Hi, I’m Jarred. I’m a Melbourne wedding photographer and I look after Library Weddings a Melbourne based wedding photography studio.
My whole career has been this. It was 15 years ago I went on my first wedding, a defining moment that shaped my outlook on what love is and how important the role is to tell that story.
Ultimately, I kept shooting weddings because I wanted to see love up close, in all its forms. I wanted to learn from every culture what family meant and the roles eac

A lack of symmetry can be a beautiful thing. Celebrate the difference in your friends and don't force him to pick extras because in the long run as those friendships change it won't be worth it. As far as photos go, it's a bridal party regardless of the numbers. They will just be group photos that express the friendships. Round head tables where the bridal party can include their partners will solve this.
