When it came to romantic evenings together, Paula was always the one to organise the details.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for our seven-year anniversary Chris decided that he would take charge and organise our weekend in the city \u2013 I still can\u2019t believe I let him!\u201d Paula says.<\/p>\n

Chris revealed a romantic streak, booking the private dining room at Caf\u00e9 Sydney and filling it with floating candles and rose petals before popping the big question.<\/p>\n

For their grand luxe wedding on October 20, 2018, the couple wanted to replicate some of this styling on a bigger scale.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day was nothing less than perfect and everything I envisioned thanks to my amazing planner Nadia (of Events By Nadia<\/a>),\u201d Paula says.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe worked together to make floating candles the standout piece of my wedding, following on from Chris\u2019 proposal setup.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ballroom at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney<\/a> was the perfect venue to accommodate the couple\u2019s 400 guests.<\/p>\n

The couple also used an LED screen. \u201cIt was a backdrop feature that allowed the ballroom to look like a castle, for fireworks to be shown for our first dance and a massive screen to play our same-day edit on the night,\u201d Paula says.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy guests are still talking about how amazing this part of my wedding was along with everything else. It really was the most magical day!\u201d<\/p>\n

“Chris and I met at a friends house the night before Easter,” Paula recalls. “Funnily enough, I was not going to go as being Greek Orthodox, the night before Easter means that you go to church! A couple of weeks later, he asked me out over MSN \u2013 very romantic. Being 16, our relationship at this point consisted of spending lots and lots of time on MSN and on the phone until all hours of the morning.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“My bridal table was custom built to encase hundreds of floating candles and my alternate table centrepieces where custom designed and made for floating candles,” Paula says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
