Not only is she the mother of Amelia\u2019s best friend and bridesmaid \u2013 she also holds a special place in Amelia\u2019s heart, whose own mother passed away nine years ago. \u201cShe\u2019s like a second mum to me,\u201d smiles Amelia.<\/p>\n<p>One-hundred-and-ten guests enjoyed amazing ocean views from the <a title=\"Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Sydney\/ManlyNovotel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Novotel Manly Pacific\u2019s<\/a> light and airy Gilbert room.<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u2019s bright, summery palette in apricot and turquoise was a reflection of their endearing personalities. Amelia\u2019s \u201cempathy, compassion and beauty \u2013 inside and out,\u201d according to Clint, and the groom\u2019s \u201cgorgeous smile and eyes, and his beautiful heart,\u201d says the ravishing bride dressed by <a title=\"Fashions by Farina\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingDress\/Sydney\/FashionsByFarina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fashions by Farina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To further honour the bride\u2019s late mother, Cancer Council pins and personalised thank-you cards were given as bonbonniere to signify the couple\u2019s generous donation to the charity. Her photograph was placed in a frame beside the cake.<\/p>\n<p>Amelia says she connected immediately to Clint, an assistant principal, on a night out at their local pub, moving in together after only five months. He is the reason she has made a career change, inspiring her to part with nursing and take up teaching.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Amelia_Clint_Vintage-Wedding_050\" Phillipa Healy designed and made the girls&#8217; apricot bridesmaid dresses, creating different silhouettes to suit each shape. &#8220;She was still sewing on the morning of the wedding!&#8221;
