{"id":193838,"date":"2014-08-13T14:00:35","date_gmt":"2014-08-13T04:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/best-friends-get-hitched-modern-vintage-wedding-aimee-brett\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T16:15:51","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T05:15:51","slug":"best-friends-get-hitched-modern-vintage-wedding-aimee-brett","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/best-friends-get-hitched-modern-vintage-wedding-aimee-brett\/","title":{"rendered":"Best friends get hitched at modern vintage wedding: Aimee &#038; Brett"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Behind every great man is a great woman.<\/p>\n<p>Carpenter, Brett Hiddlestone, 24, may be strong and robust from the physical nature of his work, but when it comes to his 23-year-old bride, Aimee Sutton, he says, \u201cShe is my backbone &#8211; a strong woman who I couldn\u2019t live without.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The best friends have a long history, attending both primary and high school together in Mandurah, WA, ahead of their eight-year romance and modern vintage wedding on October 12, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The riverside ceremony for an intimate 45 preceded a sit-down reception at Cape Bouvard Winery. \u201cBrett was very involved with the wedding planning,\u201d praises Aimee. \u201cHe even insisted that we had \u2018real flowers\u2019 and no \u2018dark colours\u2019, which made the florist giggle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another request by the groom: fun and unique wedding photos, which they entrusted with <a title=\"PK Creative Images\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingPhotography\/Perth\/PKCreativeImages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PK Creative Images<\/a>.
