{"id":193813,"date":"2014-07-06T14:00:58","date_gmt":"2014-07-06T04:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/musical-matrimony-upbeat-rustic-wedding-vanessa-mark\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T16:07:10","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T05:07:10","slug":"musical-matrimony-upbeat-rustic-wedding-vanessa-mark","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/musical-matrimony-upbeat-rustic-wedding-vanessa-mark\/","title":{"rendered":"Musical matrimony: The upbeat rustic wedding of Vanessa &#038; Mark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Surprise trumpets and a live jazz band were key notes in the symphony that was Vanessa Bucca and Mark Cremona\u2019s rustic wedding getaway on NSW\u2019s south coast.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-six-year-old Vanessa wed Mark, 30, on March 15, 2014 and put total trust in her musician aunty, uncle and two cousins to perform during the Catholic ceremony at St Mary\u2019s Star of the Sea church in Gerringong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy aunty sang and my uncle played flute as my dad walked me down the aisle,\u201d says Vanessa, who wore a <a title=\"Brides Closet\" href=\"www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingDress\/Canberra\/BridesCloset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brides Closet<\/a> custom gown. \u201cAt the end, they surprised us with trumpets and guitars and an upbeat song to see us out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Sydney couple made a weekend out of the celebrations, escaping the city to the lush pastures of Silos Estate, a vineyard in Berry, two hours down the coast.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Shoalhaven Party Hire - Easy Weddings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingHire\/Wollongong\/ShoalhavenPartyHire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shoalhaven Party Hire<\/a> provided a marquee to create a semi-outdoor reception space where live jazz band The Aston Martinis entertained the 130-strong crowd.<\/p>\n<p>The band was a chance find by the father-of-the-bride, and the involvement of family was a strong theme in what was largely a DIY event. \u201cI was very lucky as I had a lot of support and help from my family and friends,\u201d praises Vanessa.<\/p>\n<p>It was this trust in others that saw the bride and groom enjoy a stress free day. With regard to wedding suppliers, particularly smaller vendors, Vanessa\u2019s biggest tip is \u201clisten to their advice because this is their passion and they know what they\u2019re talking about.
