{"id":193648,"date":"2015-03-02T13:00:24","date_gmt":"2015-03-02T02:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/party-time-taryn-bens-fun-modern-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T16:34:49","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T05:34:49","slug":"party-time-taryn-bens-fun-modern-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/party-time-taryn-bens-fun-modern-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Party time at Taryn &amp; Ben&#8217;s fun modern wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Dancing was high on the agenda for Taryn Green and Ben Foster\u2019s modern wedding, so it was important they found a reception venue to suit.<\/p>\n<p>The Melbourne couple, both 32, exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony\u00a0at Kamesburgh Gardens, Brighton, in front of 120 guests on November 28, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThankfully Melbourne turned on the weather for us, the blue sky allowing Anzac House to feature beautifully in our ceremony,\u201d Taryn remembers.<\/p>\n<p>The couple was keen to create a party atmosphere at their reception, and so opted for <a title=\"Red Scooter\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Melbourne\/RedScooterTheUniqueEventsVenue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Red Scooter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe fell in love with the d\u00e9cor, checkerboard dance floor and <em>Alice in Wonderland<\/em> oversized chair,\u201d Taryn says.<\/p>\n<p>The couple chose not to have a wedding cake or bomboniere, using the money they saved to add extra time onto the reception. Taryn says it was a move that paid off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur dance floor was full all night and looking around the room you could see everyone was having so much fun.
