The pair met in 2007 at a Saints and Sinners night in Frankston, Victoria. A few months later they were official and by 2009 they were living in a home they built together. \u201cI was sure an engagement would be following soon,\u201d explains Emma. \u201cHow wrong I was.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fast-forward five years\u00a0and Steve mustered up the courage to propose during a holiday in Tasmania. Despite the wait, Emma says it was unexpected and a \u201cbeautiful moment\u201d. \u201cAfter Steve proposed I wasted no time getting planning!\u201d she smiles.<\/p>\n<p>The couple chose March 28, 2015 as it shared the anniversary of Emma\u2019s parents. They gave their blessing of course, says Emma.
