On all of the walls inside the maze where\u00a0hundreds of photos hanging on string,\u201d Melissa recalls.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of the\u00a0photos were of us, family and our adventures together. Throughout the maze there were also little handwritten notes containing things that Dave loves about me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the maze was a final note and a surprisingly empty ring box.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConfused, I turned around to see Dave on bended knee with the ring in his hand. Needless to say I burst into tears and of\u00a0course said &#8216;yes&#8217;,\u201d Melissa says.<\/p>\n<p>After such a <a title=\"romantic proposal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/fun-stuff\/10-proposals-that-are-a-little-bit-different\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">romantic proposal<\/a>, it was important the wedding measured up, and the couple didn\u2019t disappoint with a destination Airlie Beach wedding on May 10, 2014, in front of 60 friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>From providing the stunning venue to planning the day to a tee, Melissa says <a title=\"Villa Botanica\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/DestinationWeddings\/Brisbane\/VillaBotanica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Villa Botanica <\/a>left no stone unturned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the moment we arrived on our wedding day we were made to feel special.
