I always look at the groom to see the expression on their faces when they see their bride,&#8221; Henriett, 26, says of other weddings she has attended.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My husband burst into tears when he saw me, that made me all warm and fuzzy!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Perth pair chose <a title=\"Joondalup Resort\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Perth\/JoondalupResort\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joondalup Resort<\/a>, known as one of the nation&#8217;s number one golf course resorts, for their ceremony and reception on February 23, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was lots of laughter and tears from sheer happiness,&#8221; the bride says of her emotionally-charged wedding to Rowyn, 27.<\/p>\n<p>The sun shone down on the outdoor ceremony, attended by 100 guests, with the bride and groom marrying under a gorgeous rotunda draped in white tulle.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Budding Stars\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingFlowers\/Perth\/BuddingStars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Budding Stars<\/a> helped Henriett ensure the venue looked the part for their elegant reception and carefully-arranged blooms added splashes of colour to the otherwise neutral decor.<\/p>\n<p>After a romantic <a title=\"Ten top tips for a fabulous first dance\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/ten-top-tips-fabulous-first-dance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first dance<\/a>, Henriett and her bridesmaids surprised Rowyn and guests with a group dance to &#8220;Cotton Eye Joe&#8221;<em>.\u00a0<\/em>&#8220;Everyone at the reception joined in, even my parents,&#8221; Henriett says.<\/p>\n<p>The bride describes their fun-filled day as a true reflection of her and Rowyn as a couple.\u00a0&#8220;We are down-to-earth people and that&#8217;s how we wanted to make our guests feel &#8211;
