{"id":193486,"date":"2015-10-30T14:00:56","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T03:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/poetry-love-shelley-richards-romantic-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T17:46:21","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T06:46:21","slug":"poetry-love-shelley-richards-romantic-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/poetry-love-shelley-richards-romantic-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"The poetry of love: Shelley and Richard&#8217;s romantic wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"lead\">Loved-up bride Shelley Kurtz got creative when describing her romantic wedding to Richard Thrippleton, penning a poem to describe the big day.<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;In the <a title=\"Hunter Valley Gardens\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Sydney\/HunterValleyGardens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Valley Gardens<\/a> on August 22, Shell and Rich got married &#8211; the chapel was full, every pew,&#8221; the creative bride writes.<\/p>\n<p>Shelley, 25, says 70 guests attended the chapel ceremony, set in the beautiful gardens.<\/p>\n<p>She and Richard, 26, wrote their own vows and tied padlocks to balloons and let them go at the end of the ceremony to symbolise their everlasting love.<\/p>\n<p>Following photos, the Forster, NSW pair were whisked away to Lindemans Winery to join their guests for the reception.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It looked like a fairytale, a dream come true, it looked the part. A chandelier hung from the roof with draping and fairylights, flowers filled the room as candles lit up the night,&#8221; the budding poet writes.<\/p>\n<p>Shelley says their wedding was two years in the <a title=\"Tips on how to save for your dream wedding\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/tips-on-how-to-save-for-your-dream-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\"
