{"id":193482,"date":"2015-10-26T14:00:44","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T03:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/a-friendly-kiss-leads-to-the-garden-wedding-of-lisa-and-ben\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T17:44:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T06:44:12","slug":"a-friendly-kiss-leads-to-the-garden-wedding-of-lisa-and-ben","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/a-friendly-kiss-leads-to-the-garden-wedding-of-lisa-and-ben\/","title":{"rendered":"A friendly kiss leads to the garden wedding of Lisa and Ben"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Kissing\u00a0your future-husband\u2019s friend sounds wrong \u2013 but not when you don\u2019t know who your future husband\u00a0is!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Lisa Pullos and Ben Everingham, aged 26 and 30 respectively, met in a nightclub when she had eyes for someone else. \u201cI actually kissed his friend the night we met,\u201d laughs Lisa. \u201cBen was at the beach the next day with his friend I was meeting so I introduced myself to him.\u201d After Ben explained\u00a0they had already met the night before, they hit it off and began dating not long after.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Sunshine Coast couple later had two little girls, and Ben proposed when Lisa was <a title=\"Maternity wedding gowns that wow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/maternity-wedding-gowns-to-wow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pregnant<\/a> with their second. \u201cHe got top marks for the ring he chose all by himself,\u201d she says. They quickly began planning their garden wedding for September 9, 2015 with a ceremony at Maroochy Botanic Gardens and reception at The Lake House, Mountain Creek.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Lisa chose to surprise Ben with a special car, after they had decided they didn\u2019t need one. \u201cBen is a surfer so the <a title=\"Noosa Woody Hire &amp; Events\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingCars\/Brisbane\/NoosaWoodyHireAndEvents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Noosa Woody Hire<\/a> car was the perfect vehicle to surprise him with and he loved it,\u201d explains Lisa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The bride stressed the importance of choosing good suppliers for the big day. \u201cWe trusted all the suppliers to do their
