Priscilla Keogh and Matt McIntosh brought the desert to life with their romantic and rustic outback wedding.

The Broken Hill (NSW) pair made the most of their hometown’s natural features for their vintage-styled celebration on March 21, 2015.

Priscilla, 31, and Matt, 25, wed at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Broken Hill, in front of 140 friends and family.

In choosing their reception venue, the couple opted for Mulberry Vale Bush Gallery, which the couple had spent a week preparing for the big day, stringing up 200 fairy lights to create the perfect romantic setting for their outback-inspired celebration.

“We’ve had so many compliments about what a beautiful and unique day it was; when I look back I think of sparkles, romance and dirt,” Priscilla laughs.

“It sounds like a strange combination, but all the planning and DIY created such a magical day, it was a beautiful outback Australian wedding.”

Photos courtesy of B Captured by Ky Luu.
