{"id":193440,"date":"2015-09-13T14:00:06","date_gmt":"2015-09-13T04:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/love-amanda-joels-enchanting-disney-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T17:27:59","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T06:27:59","slug":"love-amanda-joels-enchanting-disney-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/love-amanda-joels-enchanting-disney-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"So this is love: Amanda and Joel&#8217;s enchanting Disney wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">A proposal on the Dumbo ride is naturally going to lead to a <a title=\"Our perfect Little Mermaid themed wedding\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/perfect-little-mermaid-themed-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disney-themed wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda Jones, 24, and Joel Hall, 26, travelled to Disney World in America about three years ago. \u201cIt was the most exciting day to be going to the Magic Kingdom, but little did I know it would turn out to be our most magical day,\u201d explains Amanda. \u201cAfter breakfast we headed straight for the castle and before I could get a word in\u00a0Joel\u00a0quickly led us to the Dumbo ride.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was on this little elephant Joel presented his love with a ring and asked her to marry him. \u201cWhen the ride was over a photographer took us to the castle right when the fireworks were going off for the morning parade and captured the moment perfectly,\u201d says Amanda.<\/p>\n<p>She says they have always had an \u201cimmense love\u201d for Disney and dreamt one day of having their own fairy tale. So a <a title=\"15 Frozen-inspired wedding gowns\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/fashion-easy-weddings-blog\/15-frozen-inspired-wedding-gowns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disney wedding<\/a> was an obvious choice. They married at the stunning Sirromet Winery\u00a0just outside Brisbane on October 18, 2014 with close to 90 guests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the famous Disney celebration badges, <em>Cinderella<\/em> \u2018glass\u2019 slippers, <a title=\"And the bride wore... mouse ears! - Easy Weddings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/real-brides\/and-the-bride-wore-mouse-ears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mickey and Minnie ears<\/a> and the amazing fireworks-farewell to classical Disney songs, our wedding day was everything we could have ever dreamed of,\u201d smiles
