The couple, aged 27 and 31 respectively, credit fate for their meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFate certainly had a hand in bringing our two souls together on March 28, 2015 when we got married,\u201d remarks Amil. The two <a title=\"Couple find each other on Facebook and marry \u2013 35 years after they first met\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/couple-finds-each-other-on-facebook-and-marry-35-years-after-they-first-met\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">met on Facebook<\/a> but didn\u2019t get together until several years later when they were both ready for a committed relationship. \u201cIn August 2014, I proposed at the Efes One Turkish Restaurant in Albion, which is the same restaurant Anida\u2019s sister got married,\u201d recalls Amil.<\/p>\n<p>Their traditional wedding began with a ceremony at Bosniak Centre in Eight Mile Plains followed by photos at Mt Cootha and a reception at <a title=\"Shangri La Gardens\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Brisbane\/ShangrilaGardens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shangri La Gardens<\/a> in Wynnum West. \u201cOur wedding day went beautifully according to plan, in large part due to the professionalism of Christal MaI from <a title=\"Twin Lotus Production\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingPhotography\/Brisbane\/TwinLotusProduction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twin Lotus Production<\/a>, who scouted all locations in
