life threatened to get in the way.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was due to move overseas to England at the end of the year so right from the\u00a0outset of our relationship we had to decide what we wanted to do,&#8221; Nicole, 24, says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Less than two months later we\u00a0were engaged.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jacob, 23, took his bride-to-be out to dinner and a walk along the beach near their NSW Central Coast home, proposing in the same spot his dad had proposed to his mum many years before.<\/p>\n<p>Eighteen months later Nicole and Jacob walked down the aisle in their rustic garden wedding on March 19, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Somersby&#8217;s <a title=\"Linton Gardens\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Gosford\/LintonGardens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Linton Gardens<\/a> hosted the big day, celebrated alongside 100 family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The rustic, semi-formal, maroon and brown colour theme tied our\u00a0personalities, styles and interests together perfectly, and the family and close friends we had invited\u00a0made the day even more perfect,&#8221; Nicole says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our wedding screamed Jake and I.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Photos
