The proposal is a moment that is normally\u00a0contained to the memory banks.<\/p>\n
But Theo Allen wanted to make sure when he popped the big question to Kayliegh Cowell, it would be a milestone\u00a0they would remember in many years to come.\u00a0After just six months together, the 22-year-old resort worker hired a photographer<\/a> to\u00a0catch\u00a0the moment that\u00a0he proposed<\/a>\u00a0to his love, a 24-year-old primary school teacher.<\/p>\n \u201cTheo proposed on our six-month anniversary at Tangalooma Island Resort<\/a> \u2013 where he now coincidentally works,\u201d explains Kayliegh. \u201cWe were walking along the beach when he suddenly stopped and asked me to marry him – he even had a sneaky photographer hiding in the bushes to capture the moment!\u201d<\/p>\n The couple, who had\u00a0attended the same\u00a0high school before they officially met and started dating,\u00a0married at their elegant rustic wedding on December 5, 2015. Cherbon Waters<\/a> in Burbank, Brisbane, was an ideal waterside location for both ceremony and reception, celebrated with 60 guests. \u201cOur theme was rustic vintage with a touch of elegance,\u201d explains Kayliegh.<\/p>\n Making use of a long engagement, the pair took time to create much\u00a0of the day. \u201cWe DIY’ed a great deal of our wedding from all the stationery<\/a> right down to the beautiful ring pillow my mother hand-sewed for us,\u201d smiles the bride.
