But the Sydney pair\u00a0took the exciting news in their stride and decided a simple wedding sooner rather than later was the way to go. \u201cIt all came together in a month; something that we both agreed was a sign that it was meant to be,&#8221; says Kate.<\/p>\n<p>And besides, the couple had already been on a honeymoon &#8211; having\u00a0ventured to\u00a0Europe shortly after their engagement in what they termed\u00a0&#8220;the honeymoon before the wedding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kate, 29, and Daniel, 41, married at their waterside wedding on October 31, 2015 surrounded by 90 guests. Their ceremony at Hodgson\u2019s Lookout in Kurraba Point was followed by a reception at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. \u201cFrom my father not being able to hold it together walking me down the aisle, to our wedding photos at Balmoral &#8211; where we had our first date &#8211; our day was filled with meaningful touches,\u201d explains Kate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Knowing also that we had our little boy or girl with us when we said &#8216;I do&#8217; just made it all the more special \u2013 I even got a few sneaky kicks during the signing of our registry,&#8221; smiles Kate.<\/p>\n<p>Photos courtesy
