{"id":193234,"date":"2016-11-29T20:00:58","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T09:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/flood-love-rain-doesnt-delay-rebecca-ollies-garden-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T19:21:06","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T08:21:06","slug":"flood-love-rain-doesnt-delay-rebecca-ollies-garden-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/flood-love-rain-doesnt-delay-rebecca-ollies-garden-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Flood of love: Rain doesn&#8217;t delay Rebecca and Ollie&#8217;s garden wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Not even the threat of flooding could put a dampener on Rebecca and Ollie Schofield&#8217;s garden wedding.<\/p>\n<p>In the week leading up to the big day, the couple feared torrential rain would mean they wouldn&#8217;t even be able to access the venue.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But the water subsided and along came the wedding day,&#8221; Rebecca, 22, says.<\/p>\n<p>The NSW Central Coast couple wed at Albion Farm Gardens in Woodville, Hunter Valley, in front of 70 family and friends. &#8220;January 9, the best day of my life,&#8221; smiles the bride.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca and Ollie, 25, first met at church, and during a coffee date that lasted five hours realised they had much in common. Ollie popped the question 11 months later.<\/p>\n<p>The pair then took just <a title=\"Guest list planner\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/planning-tools\/guest-list\/\">five months to plan<\/a> their elegant garden wedding, which was held in the property&#8217;s historic\u00a0barn.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was magic,&#8221; says Rebecca. &#8220;No words can articulate how Ollie made me feel that day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We exchanged our personally-written vows and also the traditional [ones] as we felt they held so much value for our marriage.
