{"id":193179,"date":"2016-09-08T21:00:44","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T11:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/musicians-ellena-adrian-star-elegant-winter-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-05-17T16:24:38","modified_gmt":"2022-05-17T06:24:38","slug":"musicians-ellena-adrian-star-elegant-winter-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/musicians-ellena-adrian-star-elegant-winter-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Musicians Ellena and Adrian star in elegant winter wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Sydney couple Ellena Baroni and Adrian Davis bonded over a love of music and were collaborating\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">within six months<\/span><\/span> of meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The musical primary school teacher and business development manager, aged 29 and 30 respectively, connected so well they found themselves performing together and even started their own YouTube channel recording children\u2019s books.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Three years later, Adrian tapped into\u00a0his creativity to devise a treasure-hunt proposal leading Ellena all over\u00a0Sydney. \u201cHe had planned for each clue\u00a0to come from friends, via texts,\u201d tells Ellena. &#8220;<\/span>Over the day we visited the place of our first date, rode the ferry to some of our favourite city spots, finishing on the steps of the Sydney Opera house, where he got down onto one knee and proposed as the sun was setting.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Their winter wedding ceremony on July 16, 2016 took place at the\u00a0<a title=\"Royal Automobile Club of Australia\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Sydney\/RoyalAutomobileClubofAustralia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Royal Automobile Club of Australia <\/a>with 70 guests, followed by an elegant reception at\u00a0<a title=\"The Team Room QBV\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Sydney\/TheTeaRoomQVB\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tea Room QBV<\/a>. \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">The wedding was such a beautiful day, and we were blessed with a sunny winter morning,\u201d describes the bride.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> \u201cThe theme of the wedding day was classic and elegant simplicity, in a Victorian setting.\u201d The classic colour palette consisted of black, blush, white and silver.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ellena opted for a \u201cminimalist dress\u201d from <a title=\"Brides of Beecroft\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingDress\/Sydney\/BridesofBeecroft\/\">Brides of Beecroft<\/a>,\u00a0with Swarovski crystal jewellery to match.
