Yet they quickly realised they only lived minutes from one another and had attended the same high school.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They say it&#8217;s a small world and that&#8217;s true for our love story,&#8221; says\u00a0Sharon.<\/p>\n<p>The Mount Cotton couple <a title=\"Seven secrets to a successful marriage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/secrets-successful-marriage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">married<\/a> at their romantic wedding on February 4, 2017 surrounded by 62 loved ones. Both the ceremony and reception took place at <a title=\"Summergrove Estate\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Lismore\/SummergroveEstate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Summergrove Estate<\/a> in Carool, NSW which boasts breathtaking views.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately my dad wasn\u2019t here to walk me down the aisle so I chose to have him and <a title=\"Ways to include lost loved ones in your ceremony\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/my-mother-has-passed-away-how-can-i-include-her-in-my-wedding-ceremony\/\">other lost loved ones<\/a> on my bouquet to be with me during the wedding,\u201d says Sharon.<\/p>\n<p>The pair\u00a0opted for summery pale pinks to create the <a title=\"Beautiful Weddings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingHire\/Brisbane\/BeautifulWeddingsQLD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">romantic<\/a> feel at the stunning venue, with touches or greenery, gold
