{"id":192709,"date":"2017-03-20T21:00:51","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T10:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/meant-to-be-claire-and-ryans-romantic-waterfront-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T19:58:31","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T08:58:31","slug":"meant-to-be-claire-and-ryans-romantic-waterfront-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/meant-to-be-claire-and-ryans-romantic-waterfront-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Meant to be: Claire and Ryan&#8217;s romantic waterfront wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Claire Jackman and Ryan Yeomans had to wait and see \u201cif it was meant to be\u201d before they could begin dating.<\/p>\n<p>Claire was just 16 when she met 18-year-old Ryan at their local youth group. \u201cHe was one of the older \u2018extra\u2019 leaders who was incredibly confident, handsome and very kind,\u201d smiles Claire. \u201cThe minister said \u2018if it is meant to be, it will happen\u2019, so we waited three years until I graduated to start dating.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRyan was very ready and eager to get married, I was younger and more hesitant,\u201d explains Claire. \u201cThrough persistence and patience he asked me to marry him four years later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Their romantic<a title=\"Reception venues\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> waterfront wedding<\/a> on April 30, 2016 took place at Ripples Chowder Bay in Sydney with 90 guests, after a ceremony at Pymble Ladies College Chapel. The bride looked for opportunities to save where she could, including purchasing a sample sale <a title=\"Wedding dress suppliers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingDress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wedding dress<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe joy I had on my wedding day was indescribable, it was a day where Ryan and I were completely absorbed in one another,
