{"id":192686,"date":"2017-03-03T21:00:23","date_gmt":"2017-03-03T10:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/perfectly-imperfect-megan-and-jared-celebrate-rustic-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T19:52:21","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T08:52:21","slug":"perfectly-imperfect-megan-and-jared-celebrate-rustic-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/perfectly-imperfect-megan-and-jared-celebrate-rustic-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Perfectly imperfect: Megan and Jared celebrate rustic wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Megan Durston and Jared Greenbank were best\u00a0friends as teenagers and denied a spark for some time for fear of ruining their friendship.<\/p>\n<p>But becoming romantic turned out to be the greatest decision ever, and several years later they married at their rustic wedding on October 9, 2015. \u201cWe got married at the always stunning <a title=\"Serafino McLaren Vale\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Adelaide\/SerafinoMcLarenVale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Serafino Winery<\/a> on a magical, and rather hot, October afternoon under the shade of the gum tree,\u201d explains Megan, 27, of her day with Jared, 26. \u201cFrom there we had our reception in the beautiful courtyard where <a title=\"Paul Smith Entertainment\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingMusic\/Adelaide\/PaulSmithEntertainment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paul Smith Entertainment<\/a> sang the night away for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Megan&#8217;s bridesmaids were beautifully styled in blush\u00a0pink \u2014\u00a0offset by the groomsmen in powder blue. The vintage wash on their wedding images creates a\u00a0nostalgic vibe with the pastel\u00a0colourings.<\/p>\n<p>The bride is the first to admit their wedding day wasn\u2019t \u201cperfect\u201d, but instead the ideal reflection of them as a couple. \u201cEverything about our day was perfectly imperfect, just like us, our photos show the love and happiness not only we share but what we share with our families and friends,\u201d she smiles.<\/p>\n<p>The newlyweds <a title=\"Thailand honeymoons\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/honeymoon\/packages\/location\/thailand\/\">honeymooned in
