{"id":192630,"date":"2017-01-16T20:00:42","date_gmt":"2017-01-16T09:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/kasey-kanes-golf-club-wedding-gold-coast\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T19:38:29","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T08:38:29","slug":"kasey-kanes-golf-club-wedding-gold-coast","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/kasey-kanes-golf-club-wedding-gold-coast\/","title":{"rendered":"Kasey and Kane&#8217;s golf club wedding on the Gold Coast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"m_-5575340730536643048MediumGrid21 lead\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">There aren\u2019t many weddings that go off without a hitch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Unfortunately for Kasey Stevens and Kane Dunning, it was quite the emergency when her uncle passed out from <a title=\"Top 10 wedding day regrets: If I could do it all again\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/top-10-wedding-day-regrets-if-i-could-do-it-all-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dehydration<\/a> when she arrived at the ceremony. \u201c<\/span>I did wait in the car for 15 minutes for the ambulance to arrive,\u201d explains Kasey. \u201cLuckily he is OK now, sadly he travelled 2,000 kilometres to miss our big day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But on the upside, the couple, aged 27 and 26 respectively, <a title=\"10 utterly romantic wedding photos you must see (and shoot)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/romantic-wedding-photos\/\">had beautiful photos taken on the day<\/a> which she can now show her uncle, and others who missed the big moment. \u201cI am really excited to get home and finally share our photos with him, my nan and pa who couldn&#8217;t make it due to distance and their age, and my other bridesmaid who ended up giving birth instead of attending,\u201d explains Kasey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-5575340730536643048MediumGrid21\">Their golf club wedding on October 8, 2016 began with a ceremony at St Margaret\u2019s Chapel on Surfers Paradise, followed by a<a title=\"Wedding venues\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> reception<\/a> at Southport Golf Club. Kasey says the photos from the day truly capture the love between her and Kane. \u201cI know I smiled all day and I you can see from the photos just how excited and in love we are,\u201d she says. \u201cIt has been almost five years of love that already has a million traits of my parents\u2019 life and they have been together for over 30 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Photos courtesy of <a title=\"Gold
