{"id":192626,"date":"2017-01-08T21:00:33","date_gmt":"2017-01-08T10:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/soulmates-shaye-andrew-marry-classic-wedding-perth\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T19:36:26","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T08:36:26","slug":"soulmates-shaye-andrew-marry-classic-wedding-perth","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/soulmates-shaye-andrew-marry-classic-wedding-perth\/","title":{"rendered":"Soulmates&#8217; Shaye and Andrew marry at classic wedding in Perth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Shaye Funnell married her soulmate, Andrew Fonseca, on September 25, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The couple, aged 25 and 29 respectively, opted for a <a title=\"Planning a classic and elegant wedding\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/planning-classic-elegant-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">classic wedding <\/a>at Green Place Reserve in Perth\u2019s Mosman Park. \u201cAndrew and I met nine years ago and from the moment we met we knew we would be together,\u201d smiles Shaye. \u201cWe truly feel that we are soulmates and we&#8217;re destined to be together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bride, an occupational therapist, was surprised by her then boyfriend, a teacher, with a trip to the Whitsundays for his proposal. \u201cAfter flying over the heart shaped reef and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, he proposed at sunset on the jetty. It was beautiful and heartfelt,\u201d explains Shaye.<\/p>\n<p>The couple did their best to personalise their wedding day with touches including a butterfly release and DIY elements. \u201cTable numbers were all the countries we had been to and each centrepiece was a photo in that place,\u201d says the bride.<\/p>\n<p>Shaye\u2019s advice for brides-to-be is to relax about the details.
