It was here, after a romantic dinner, Ben read a poem he&#8217;d written himself, and got down on one knee and asked Renae to marry him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have to say, it was well worth the seven-year wait!&#8221; says Renae, also 28.<\/p>\n<p>The pair said &#8216;I do&#8217; on November 25, 2016 among 87 guests at their romantic garden wedding held at <a title=\"Mount Lofty House\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Adelaide\/MountLoftyHouse\">Mount Lofty House<\/a>, in South Australia. The location was of\u00a0sentimental value, overlooking\u00a0Piccadilly Valley where Renae and Ben had\u00a0also\u00a0shared their first kiss, and where Ben proposed.<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u00a0were known for spending their weekends exploring the Adelaide Hills, and were always up for good food with a good view.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d always joked about getting married at Mount Lofty House when we would drive past,&#8221; says Renae. &#8220;We never thought that it would actually become a reality!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In <a title=\"Planning tools\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/planning-tools\/\">planning the wedding<\/a> they wanted to have, it was important for Renae and Ben to stay true to themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We made our day all about our friends and family. We personalised the\u00a0ceremony so it was sentimental and meaningful to everyone around us.
