{"id":189561,"date":"2017-05-16T04:27:24","date_gmt":"2017-05-15T18:27:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/punch-drunk-love-isabelle-nicks-elegant-yarra-valley-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T20:13:19","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T09:13:19","slug":"punch-drunk-love-isabelle-nicks-elegant-yarra-valley-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/punch-drunk-love-isabelle-nicks-elegant-yarra-valley-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Punch-drunk love: Isabelle and Nick&#8217;s elegant Yarra Valley wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">From sparring partners to life partners, things moved quickly for Isabelle Davies and Nick Sharp.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nick and I met at a boxing gym,&#8221; Isabelle, 26, explains. &#8220;Nick began to train me, and after the first training session, he asked me over for a dinner date.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A few training sessions later Isabelle of Melbourne and Nick of New Zealand, were smitten. &#8220;He was so enthusiastic about life and had so many family values that I strongly believe in,&#8221; recalls the bride of her beau, 31. &#8220;We had a lot in common.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nick&#8217;s proposal was on a beach in Tasmania with the help of a seaweed &#8216;X&#8217; to mark the spot, a buried bottle of Moet, and Isabelle&#8217;s dog to help\u00a0to dig out the treasure. The couple then <a title=\"Planning tools - To Do List\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/planning-tools\/to-do-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">began planning<\/a> their Yarra Valley wedding.<\/p>\n<p>They\u00a0wed on March 30, 2017 in front of 108 friends and family at Stones of the Yarra Valley. After their ceremony in the chapel, the celebrations continued in the modern-style barn.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were surrounded by vines and a cute chapel and Tuscan-like buildings. it was truly a fairy
