This bride\u2019s equestrian background led her to the ideal wedding destination at Werribee Mansion<\/a> in Victoria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith our mix of family and friends across Australia and with Chris\u2019 home state being Queensland, as well as having lived all over, we knew finding the ideal location was going to be key,\u201d the Victorian bride Chelsea Hennig, 28, explains of her elegant mansion wedding to Christopher Amos, 31.<\/p>\n

\u201cChris and I had kicked off our venue search locally in the Macedon Ranges and then turned to a nearby icon and venue I had visited many times having been an avid horse rider throughout my teenage years,\u201d says Chelsea. \u201cHaving all the beautifully manicured gardens and nature around us it was just perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair married on January 27, 2017 in the presence of 96 guests. They chose a long-time friend and mentor to make it official<\/a>. \u201cI met Catherine Shelley when I started at her riding school back when I was eight years old,\u201d smiles Chelsea. \u201cIt was such an honor to have her a part of our day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The groom\u2019s handyman skills were utilised for DIY tasks. \u201cChris was quick to volunteer to put his creativity and building skills to work,\u201d says the bride. \u201cHe designed our invites and signage, and handmade a beautifully crafted\u00a0outdoor bar<\/a>, tables, arbour, ‘love’\u00a0letters, festoon lights and much more \u2013 I have a handy husband!\u201d<\/p>\n

The newlyweds have since started their own wedding styling business, I Do Styling<\/a>.<\/p>\n
