{"id":186663,"date":"2017-10-27T21:00:51","date_gmt":"2017-10-27T10:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/guests-travel-from-abroad-for-abby-and-daryls-eagle-ridge-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T00:58:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T13:58:15","slug":"guests-travel-from-abroad-for-abby-and-daryls-eagle-ridge-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/guests-travel-from-abroad-for-abby-and-daryls-eagle-ridge-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Guests travel from abroad for Abby and Daryl&#8217;s Eagle Ridge wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Despite first meeting as children, it wasn&#8217;t until years later that love blossomed online between Abigail Mutembu and Daryl Boniface.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the two of us, being together felt effortless and fun and was different to previous relationships from our past,&#8221; says Abby, 27. &#8220;It wasn&#8217;t long before we were living together and well embedded in each other&#8217;s lives.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After asking Abby&#8217;s parents for their blessing, Daryl,\u00a032, took Abby for a late night drive to her hometown Warburton &#8211; where the pair had met as children. &#8220;Daryl almost dropped the ring right there on the swing bridge, but saved it at the last minute.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On their fifth anniversary, May 5, 2017, Abby and Daryl married\u00a0at their Eagle Ridge wedding among 105 family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Mornington\/EagleRidgeWeddings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eagle Ridge<\/a> was the first and only venue we went to see. We booked on the spot.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Abby and Daryl point to how special it was to have a room full of people they love who were truly happy for them and their union.
