Aimee, 25, says that after an emergency ambulance trip to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, luckily no surgical intervention was required.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;However, six weeks in a neck collar and no work made finances quite difficult as Chase had just started a new job,&#8221; she explains.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this setback, the Victorian pair decided to cut their losses, forfeit their booking at a Mornington Peninsula venue, and have an intimate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/DestinationWeddings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">destination wedding <\/a>in Fiji instead!<\/p>\n<p>On August 5,\u00a02017 Aimee and Chase said &#8216;I do&#8217; at their Fiji wedding held at Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort on the Coral Coast.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had 35 people fly to Fiji from Australia to join in with the festivities,&#8221; Aimee says. &#8220;We were married in the most stunning chapel overlooking the Fijian coral coast waters. I was the most relaxed bride which is surprising as I normally get quite stressed!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Aimee says that because of the many setbacks due to Chase&#8217;s injury, the pair believed financially they would never be able to get married. &#8220;I have now married the most amazing support person and my absolute best friend &#8211; and we couldn&#8217;t have done it in a more
