And much to their delight, their Aussie friends and family were only too happy\u00a0to join them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u00a0was not an easy decision but we knew Aussies were eager travellers and South Africans were great hosts. Perfect combo,&#8221; recalls Kim of their October 22, 2016 celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The destination nuptials combined Kim&#8217;s &#8220;girly side&#8221; with dripping\u00a0florals\u00a0at every turn\u00a0and Matt&#8217;s &#8220;scientific and engineer&#8221; side with industrial elements such as copper, geometric shapes\u00a0and filament light globes. And of course, travel was a big part of the theme as well &#8211; the newlyweds heading off on a romantic &#8216;buddymoon&#8217;\u00a0just the two of them &#8211; and 12 of their best friends!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It couldn&#8217;t have been a more perfect way to share the euphoria of pulling off the wedding of our dreams,&#8221; smiles bride Kim.<\/p>\n<p>Well, that euphoria is certain to continue for a while more, the couple have won a second honeymoon in Koh Samui, Thailand, with business class flights thanks to <a title=\"Amazing Thailand\" href=\"http:\/\/ewed.us\/ttb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Amazing Thailand<\/a> and 5 magical nights in a Pool Villa Suite at <a title=\"Melati Beach Resort &amp;  Spa\" href=\"http:\/\/ewed.us\/mrb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Melati Beach Resort and Spa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to our\u00a0other <a title=\"2017 Nominees\" href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/2017-finalists-all\/\">11 finalists<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; we honestly wish they\u00a0could all have won!
