Rachael says her relaxed vineyard wedding to now-husband Dave was all about two things – love and fun.

“That is what we are about and that’s what we wanted to share with everyone,” Rachael, 28, says.

The couple shared their first kiss at 14 and were partners at Rachael’s debutante ball before she worked up the courage to tell Dave, also 28, how much she liked him.

“That was nearly 12 years ago now,” she says.

“We have shared so many amazing times together including living overseas, building a home and creating a beautiful daughter. Our wedding was just the icing on the cake.”

The Geelong couple headed to Yarra Glen with 125 friends and family for their wedding at Acacia Ridge winery on November 11, 2017.

Although they were already wholeheartedly committed to one another, Rachael describes the laid-back celebrations as “magical”.

“It was one heck of a party,” she says.
