However, after just a few short months of dating, the couple faced a difficult time apart.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t long after they moved in together that army man Mitch was deployed overseas for six months.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was devastated! I had just met the man of my dreams and within few months knew he would be deploying for half the year,&#8221; Olivia, 29, explains.<\/p>\n<p>It was a difficult six months, but the couple planned a trip to Europe together to have something to look forward to, and it was later in Santorini that Mitch, 31, popped the question.<\/p>\n<p>The Sydney couple enjoyed the process of planning their romantic harbour wedding together.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanted to ensure our wedding was \u2018us\u2019 and the flow of the day created a build-up of events with the peak being our surprise fireworks and party to end the night,&#8221; Olivia says.<\/p>\n<p>The pair&#8217;s romantic outdoor ceremony was held at\u00a0Clark Park, Lavender Bay on April 28, 2018 in front of 116 friends and family.
