Rebecca and Michael’s beach boho wedding was beautifully styled thanks to the bride’s art background.

The visual art teacher, aged 31, met her beau Michael, 28, while they were teaching in Central Queensland.

“It was very much a blur of love, passion, fun and fast-paced plans,” explains Rebecca. “From the first night we spent together, we knew this was going to be something different. Mick and I were completely inseparable.”

They married with 90 guests on September 29, 2018 at Noosa Boathouse, Queensland, in their current hometown.

“Being a high school visual art teacher, I spent days and weeks creating completely bespoke touches,” says Rebecca. “Hand-painted tropical invitations, an A1 seating plan, place cards and all chalkboard signage. The wedding favours were also made with love: ceramic hand-built glazed pots with personally grown and planted succulents.”

Rebecca’s perfectly fitted boho gown was sourced from Byron Bay at Grace Loves Lace. “I shopped with my bridesmaids during a weekend. It was there I fell in love with many Grace Love Lace dresses,” says the bride. A return visit with her mum cemented the decision to choose the Verdelle gown.
