{"id":168490,"date":"2019-08-05T20:00:08","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T10:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/kate-and-jesse-stretch-out-country-estate-wedding-celebrations\/"},"modified":"2024-04-09T12:34:53","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T02:34:53","slug":"kate-and-jesse-stretch-out-country-estate-wedding-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/kate-and-jesse-stretch-out-country-estate-wedding-celebrations\/","title":{"rendered":"Kate and Jesse stretch out country estate wedding celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">An extended celebration with family and friends was the hallmark of Kate and Jesse\u2019s country estate wedding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur priorities for planning the day was to have a venue where we could celebrate with our family the night before and have them stay on-site at accommodation at the venue,\u201d Kate explains.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe managed to find all that and more at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/SouthernHighlands\/SylvanGlenCountryHouse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sylvan Glen Country Estate<\/a> at Penrose in the Southern Highlands, we had a barbecue and drinks with our family and close friends the night before our wedding complete with open fireplaces and a pool table.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seventy-eight family and friends surrounded the couple for their August 18, 2018 celebrations, where the main priorities were keeping things laid-back and full of fun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth my husband and I were very relaxed with what we wanted on our wedding day, the main thing was to have everyone around us to witness our \u2018I Do\u2019 then celebrate, drink and dance with us afterwards,\u201d Kate says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSylvan Glen were amazing and had everything we needed. We didn\u2019t need to give anything a second thought because it was already taken care of. Our dogs were able to stay at the bed and breakfast and he took me for a walk by the river while the sun was setting, got on one knee and popped the question!
