{"id":165590,"date":"2020-01-05T20:00:31","date_gmt":"2020-01-05T09:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/kids-come-first-for-sarah-and-jonathans-romantic-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T06:01:04","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T19:01:04","slug":"kids-come-first-for-sarah-and-jonathans-romantic-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/kids-come-first-for-sarah-and-jonathans-romantic-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Kids come first for Sarah and Jonathan&#8217;s romantic wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Every step of the way when planning their romantic wedding, Sarah and Jonathan had their children as their Number One priority.<\/p>\n<p>After more than a decade as an item, Sarah and Jonathan, aged 29 and 36, exchanged vows at a beautiful garden wedding ceremony held on November 2, 2019\u00a0in the grounds of a private estate in Goulburn, NSW.<\/p>\n<p>With young children in mind, the wedding party moved from the morning ceremony to a lunchtime reception, in place of the traditional dinner.<\/p>\n<p>The kids \u2014 four in total including Jonathan&#8217;s two older sons from a previous relationship \u2014 held honorary roles in the day&#8217;s proceedings. Their daughter was flower girl, their son pageboy, and Jonathan&#8217;s older sons junior groomsmen \u2014 one of which performed a special reading at the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our wedding was what we wanted and we didn&#8217;t change things for what people expected or what was tradition.
