{"id":165577,"date":"2019-10-29T20:00:12","date_gmt":"2019-10-29T09:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/high-school-sweethearts-amie-and-james-romantic-bohemian-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T05:53:52","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T18:53:52","slug":"high-school-sweethearts-amie-and-james-romantic-bohemian-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/high-school-sweethearts-amie-and-james-romantic-bohemian-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"High school sweethearts Amie and James&#8217; romantic bohemian wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Amie and James, both writers, celebrated their romantic bohemian wedding at their favourite coffee shop on December 15, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanted a small wedding with lots of coffee, very good wine and good food,&#8221; explains Amie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was all flat whites and champagne, with our nearest and dearest cramped in the cafe and it was perfect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Sydney pair, both aged 27, said &#8216;I do&#8217; in the presence of 50 of their closest family and friends with Amie&#8217;s brother officiating the intimate ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The party was picked up by a big red London double-decker to the newlyweds&#8217; favourite restaurant, Lumi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was really important to Jimmy and I that the food and wine were a standout, and Lumi did not disappoint,&#8221; says Amie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We watched one of Sydney&#8217;s biggest summer storms roll in from within the safety of the glass restaurant, and it was wild and perfect.
