{"id":164845,"date":"2020-04-12T19:00:20","date_gmt":"2020-04-12T09:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/real-weddings\/long-time-friendship-leads-to-hannah-and-tims-simple-wedding\/"},"modified":"2024-04-05T10:22:25","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T23:22:25","slug":"long-time-friendship-leads-to-hannah-and-tims-simple-wedding","status":"publish","type":"au-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/real-weddings\/long-time-friendship-leads-to-hannah-and-tims-simple-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Long-time friendship leads to Hannah and Tim&#8217;s simple wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Hannah and Tim are building their marriage on more than a decade of friendship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTim and I first met when we were like five years old, our parents went to church together,\u201d Hannah explains.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t really see each other again until high school &#8211; we\u2019ve been best friends ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Sydney pair dated for just two years before getting engaged. \u201cAs soon as we started dating, I knew we would get married,\u201d Hannah says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know each other really well and have gone through so many different phases of life together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For their simple wedding, the couple wanted to pare back tradition and maximise their time with family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe basically chose all our favourite bits and put them together. We wanted the day to be relaxed and simple and all about relationship,\u201d the bride says.<\/p>\n<p>They chose Camperdown Commons for their simple wedding on June 9, 2019, celebrating with 120 guests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving the ceremony and reception in the same place was something we really wanted. We both felt it would make the day much more relaxed, not having to rush from place to place,\u201d Hannah says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur wedding reflected who we are as a couple. We knew our priorities &#8211; relationships, good food and enjoying the moment.
