From Lebanese drumming to crowd surfing, Jessica and Rheece’s ‘small’ Lebanese/Australian elegant wedding of 240 guests was full of surprises.

The Sydney couple’s celebration of love heavily focused on entertainment, with the aim to put on a spectacular party for all in attendance.

The day kicked off with a traditional ceremony at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Ryde, made all the more special with a string trio performing live throughout the ceremony. Then, as the party really kicked into gear at reception venue Oatlands House, the newlyweds surprised guests with a traditional Lebanese drums and saxophone entrance, DIY styling by the bride and a hilarious ‘find your face to find your place’ photo board using embarrassing photos of guests in place of a traditional seating chart.

The best surprise of all, however, was something even the bride and groom didn’t see coming.

“The biggest thing that stood out on our day was our surprise flash mob at the reception,” says the bride. “I am a dance teacher and the studio and my parents put together a hilarious flash mob to surprise Rheece and I!”
