And what a day it was!<\/h3>\n<p><div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/566154830?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen> width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/p>\n<p class=\"lead\">&#8220;But we would do it ALL the same,&#8221; says bride Matara of her March 6, 2021 wedding to Gavin. &#8220;The day was honestly perfect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The couple&#8217;s modern-elegant city wedding commenced at the awe-inspiring St Mary Star of the Sea Cathedral in West Melbourne. Several of the 180 guest list chose to stay in the Melbourne CBD, within walking distance to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingVenues\/Melbourne\/ThePark\/\"><strong>The Park<\/strong><\/a>, enjoying drinks and finger food at their hotel while Matara and Gavin had photos taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingPhotography\/Melbourne\/TOneImage\/\"><strong>T-One Image<\/strong><\/a>. The Royal Exhibition Buildings, Imax, MCG, and of course, the lakeside views of Albert Park were among the many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/10-melbourne-wedding-photography-locations-to-consider-for-your-big-day\/\"><strong>iconic Melbourne backdrops<\/strong><\/a> to their day.<\/p>\n<p>Once at The Park it was MC, Eddie Rinaldo, who took everyone under his wing, Matara commenting, &#8220;he was flawless, so professional, extremely experienced and got our guests involved in some very special aspects of the night.&#8221; Music and a packed dancefloor was thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingMusic\/Melbourne\/MelbourneEntertainmentCo\/\"><strong>Melbourne Entertainment Co<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Matara worked with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/DressDesigners\/\"><strong>bridal designer<\/strong><\/a> Jason Grech on her modern classic wedding gown, featuring long sheer sleeves, a plunging V-neck and sheer low back. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/WeddingFlowers\/\"><strong>Florals<\/strong><\/a> by Something Bloomed were classic white, adding in blush and greenery for the reception arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Of their experience postponing their day four times, Matara explains, &#8220;some suppliers changed due to not being available on all the date changes, however, our reception venue was wonderful and very accommodating throughout the planning process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p2\"><em>Both Gavin and I fell in love with the views. The Park has breathtaking views of the Albert Park Lake, it&#8217;s picturesque. The large chandeliers set a very romantic vibe which we also loved.
