But no matter whether you fall in love at first sight, or a venue grows on you over time, you will reach a point where you will have to start to ask the tough questions. We&#8217;re talking about the what if questions and the ones that could save your butt (and your money) if anything goes wrong.<\/p>\n<p>These are the most awkward questions to ask, but the ones you absolutely need to. (Always check for possible discounts for switching days or times too&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>How much is the deposit and how much is refundable if we change our minds?<\/li>\n<li>What corkage or cake cutting fees do you have?<\/li>\n<li>Is there a bar minimum that must be met?<\/li>\n<li>Do you charge overtime fees for staff or for the venue hire if we run over time?
