According to our Easy Wedding\u2019s Annual Wedding Survey, which is the biggest wedding survey in Australia, it is not just the time to be jolly but also the time to become engaged.<\/p>\n<p>More than 2300 brides completed our survey and we found that<strong> 9% of all engagements happen between Christmas Eve and New Year\u2019s Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas Day takes the top spot in the list of popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/?submit=Go&amp;s=engaged\" target=\"_blank\">engagement<\/a> dates and is followed by New Year\u2019s Day, Valentine\u2019s Day and Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n<p>And when a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/leap-year-love-leap-day-proposals\/\" target=\"_blank\">leap year<\/a> is concerned, our survey also found that the 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of February, which only occurs every 4 years, is a prominent date for both weddings and engagements.
