Over the past six weeks, Easy Weddings and ATEIA Photography & Video offered brides the chance to win their wedding photography – and we have a winner!

Hundreds of brides entered the competition, which asked: If you could shoot your wedding photos anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

And the results were outstanding, however, we had only one prize to give away and it will go to Nadine Al-Antouri and her fiance Nick, both of Langwarrin in Melbourne’s South East.

Nadine’s answer was chosen from hundreds of outstanding entries.[ew-supplier-carousel]

She said that if she could shoot her wedding photos anywhere in the world, she’d choose Lebanon, Nick’s country of birth, because he had such a difficult childhood there and, by shooting their wedding pictures there, she hoped to erase his unhappy memories of the past and replace them with more joyful memories – and hope for the future.

Awww…

“We chose Nadine’s answer because it was such a heartfelt and thoughtful response to what we believed was going to be a really simple question,” says Ramy, ATEIA’s owner.

“It was a really difficult choice as we received some amazing and truly creative answers that involved wedding shoots everywhere from Santorini and Sicily to a quaint Yorkshire farm where Wuthering Heights is set. It’s the bride’s favourite book – and she’s always wanted to shoot her wedding photos in that part of England.”

Nadine says she and Nick are yet to set a wedding date, but when they do, they’ll receive one of ATEIA’s full-day photography packages valued at $1,889.

Congratulations, Nadine and Nick! We wish you all the best for your marriage – and we’re sure your wedding photos will look amazing!
