{"id":35872,"date":"2015-04-21T02:37:23","date_gmt":"2015-04-20T16:37:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/au\/articles\/one-very-truthful-rvsp\/"},"modified":"2021-11-10T03:58:30","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T16:58:30","slug":"one-very-truthful-rvsp","status":"publish","type":"au-article","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/articles\/one-very-truthful-rvsp\/","title":{"rendered":"One VERY truthful RVSP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">It&#8217;s the unconventional wedding RSVP that&#8217;s been viewed more than 2.6 millions times in the two days since it was uploaded &#8211; and it&#8217;s easy to see why.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;truthful&#8217; RSVP was uploaded to reddit by user <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/pics\/comments\/332y2p\/this_is_a_wedding_invitation_i_recieved\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">cloggingthetubes <\/a>who received the humorous note as part of a wedding invitation from friends.<\/p>\n<p>The RSVP asks invitees to select the reason they will &#8211; or will not &#8211; be attending\u00a0 some upcoming nuptials and, rather than the standard &#8220;I regretfully decline&#8221; or &#8220;I happily accept,&#8221; the couple marrying have included such options as &#8220;I regretfully accept because only like one of you&#8221; and &#8220;I am coming without a date because I desire to meet someone at your reception.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not quite as snappy as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.com.au\/blogs\/easy-weddings-blog\/rsvp-wish-send\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this RSVP, which went viral last year, <\/a>but it has fired the imaginations of the many thousands of people, including users such as addowning who added, &#8220;Should have done this with my wedding invites. Would have saved some trouble&#8221; and rgdole who added, &#8220;<span>This is pretty funny&#8230; always like it when people try to make life a little more awesome&#8230; just from this alone I&#8217;d want to go&#8230;<\/span>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hear, hear!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What do you think?
