Would you hire photo booth for your reception?
Photo Booths are a Popular Choice for Wedding Receptions
Wedding photo booths are a great way to liven up your reception and 62% of couples would consider hiring one according to an Easy Weddings poll. Almost two thirds of the 1,500 couples that responded to the poll thought a photo booth would be a great addition to their wedding day.
Setting up a photo booth at your wedding gives your guests something to do and keeps them entertained as well as providing fun photos for you to use however you wish. A photo booth is a great way to create an alternative wedding guest book as guests pose inside the booth individually, in couples, or in groups, for photos which are immediately printed out. You can stick photos into a guest book along with written messages, or you can pin them to a board to create a piece of wedding artwork.
Depending on the photo booth you hire you can make use of a number of different functions. Have two photos printed; one for your guest book and one for your guest to keep instead of a bomboniere. Find out whether your photo booth has a video function so your guests can leave video messages instead of simply taking a photo.
Most photo booths will save digital copies of the photos taken and you can use these later to create your own individual thank you cards. Find out whether the pictures will be placed into an online gallery for your guests to view after the wedding, or whether the photos can be posted onto social networking sites like Facebook for everyone to share.
Have your photo booth set up in time for your evening reception as your guests will be more in the mood for comedy pictures once they’ve had a few drinks and got to know each other. Provide a few props such as hats and wigs if you want silly photos, or supply paper and pens so they can hold up written messages for the camera.
