Zara first met beau Daniel four years ago when he came to dance for her Ballet School in Canberra.
On January 4, 2018, following a quiet Christmas Day proposal, Zara and Daniel said ‘I do’ before 80 guests at Stones of the Yarra Valley in Victoria.
Given their shared line of work, it made sense to have a soft rose pink and rose gold colour scheme for their ballet wedding. Zara chose a beautiful soft pink gown with a milk lace overlay for the chapel ceremony; later changing into a tea-length tulle dress and ballet slippers to dance all night long at their barn reception. To complement Zara’s gown, Andrew wore a tailor-made pink suit made from luxury fabrics ordered from Russia and Italy.
Highlights of the day included seeing one another for the first time as Zara entered the chapel and, of course, the newlyweds’ first dance.
Zara advises other couples: “During planning, never lose sight of why this day exists. That is, to mark the beginning of a life with the person you love the most.” And write personalised wedding vows! “Personalised vows make for a very special and emotional moment that you and your guests could never forget.”

The pair went for a warm rustic vibe, inspired by their travels through the Tuscan countryside.
