Mikaela and Michael’s modern classic wedding was all about opulence.
The Adelaide couple first met through mutual friends and quickly became inseparable.
Three years later Michael popped the question at the site of one of their first dates.
The pair wed at the city’s grand St Peter’s Cathedral on February 24, 2018, surrounded by 180 friends and family.
Mikaela wore a custom-made gown and six-metre veil befitting the beautiful venue.
The reception followed at the Adelaide Town Hall, where a seven-tier cake took centrestage.
The bride describes the day as “truly magical”.
“Not only because of all the love in the room but our suppliers went above and beyond to create a show-stopper wedding,” she says.

Mikaela was the picture of elegance in her form-fitting wedding dress.
The couple is full of praise for their photographer, Dan Evans. “Dan’s attention to detail and knowledge for what he does is second to none,” Mikaela says.
The couple’s rings were sourced from Michael Hill.
Michael and his groomsmen were dressed by Joseph Uzumcu.
