Julia and Jon’s ‘right royal’ bohemian wedding has been crowned Wedding of the Month!
The outdoorsy couple (whose brave first date involved getting down to their togs and paddling through crashing waves!) wed at Sydney’s Royal National Park. Their ceremony among the trees was followed by a reception for 120 in the park’s heritage-listed Audley Dancehall.
“It’s pretty hard to pick one memorable moment but our wedding had a pretty awesome dance floor,” smiles Julia. “I would say that was what I remember the most!”
“But a close second would be watching our family and friends sitting by the banks of the Hacking River after our ceremony, having a ball on the most beautiful afternoon, listening to acoustic music while making their own antipasto boards.”
Congratulations to Julia and Jon (and to Kieran Moore for capturing it all so beautifully.) They are now the sixth couple in the running for Wedding of the Year, with an incredible seven-night holiday at The Havannah Vanuatu flying Air Vanuatu in their sights.
A special mention to our other 11 June nominees, thank you all for sharing your stories (and the love!) with us.
