Destiny: “The predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.” – dictionary.com
Melbourne couple Vanessa Mirtsis, 27 and Sime Kovacevic, 26 met in their last year of high school and in that one irresistible moment, knew they’d be together forever.
Following a waterfall proposal in the romantic Dandenong Ranges, their fate was sealed in a classic wedding on March 17, 2013.
One hundred and forty guests witnessed the exchange of vows at St Paul’s Church Coburg and were captivated by the spine-tingling sounds of harpist/vocalist Lady Shuala.
Once the church doors were opened, it was time for FUN.
Starting with a photo shoot with Whitepoint Photography, the bridal party quickly got into, well, party mode, getting loose and up to all sorts of silly antics including dancing in the street.
Quat Quatta and Rinaldo Entertainment ensured the high spirits continued, hosting an “amazing” reception, which saw the bride and groom leave the dance floor just once and only to eat the “amazing” food, praises the bride.
“Everyone was dancing, recalls Vanessa. “We wanted to cherish and enjoy the moment and share it with all our favourite people.”
“We will never forget the one day that we never wanted to end.”
