Josh didn’t waste any time getting to know Emma – even flying overseas within three months of dating her to meet the parents!
The couple, aged 28 and 24 respectively, met at a pub and romance quickly followed. “Josh took his first international flight three months later to meet my parents living in the Middle East at the time, we moved in together another three months after that, and a year later we purchased our very first home,” explains the Emma.
The couple planned their garden wedding in six months, not seeing the point in waiting any longer. They married on March 25, 2017 with 125 guests at Sol Gardens in Queensland’s Currumbin Valley. “Our wedding day was the best day, it was a little overcast and rained in the morning but made the gardens so beautiful,” explains the bride. “You couldn’t describe the amount of love we felt the whole day but it was amazing and something we will never forget.”
“Our relationship is built on love and laughter and we can’t wait to see what the years bring for us!” smiles the bride.

“We didn’t really want a long engagement because we didn’t see the point, so we married six months later around our fifth anniversary,” says Emma.
